Welcome to the new home of the tournament formerly known as the North Bay Employee Hockey Tournament and Big Brothers Tournament.
For 40 years, Moe Bedard has poured his time, passion, and dedication into building this tournament into what it is today. His commitment and impact are unforgettable. While the name may be changing, Moe is not going anywhere. He remains an active and valued part of the tournament moving forward.
As we began the search for a new name, we spoke with many past participants and supporters, asking what came to mind when they thought about the tournament. Time and time again, one name was at the center of those conversations. Moe.
In recognition of Moe’s legacy, and in keeping with the tournament’s long-standing commitment to supporting local charities and non-profit organizations, we are proud to introduce the M.O.E Cup, short for More Opportunities for Everyone.
We will also be expanding the website each year to clearly outline where charitable donations are directed, ensuring transparency and highlighting the impact this tournament continues to make in our community.
